The group stage match for Arsenal has now been moved to Thursday, October 20.
Due to the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, the match that was originally scheduled for this Thursday, September 15, has been postponed.
But the fixture had to be played before the first Europa League knockout draw on November 7, and the week of City’s game against Arsenal was one option for the rearranged date.
The Gunners’ game against the champions, which was due to be played that week (on Wednesday), has now been postponed.
Mikel Arteta’s men will be back in action this Sunday when they travel to Brentford.
City are away to Wolves in Saturday’s early kick-off.
