Trent Alexander-Arnold, a defender for Liverpool, has named three individuals who contributed to his team's victory over Newcastle United in the Premier League matchup on Sunday.
On Sunday at St. James' Park, Liverpool overcame a goal deficit to defeat Newcastle United in a Premier League away game.
Virgil van Dijk was given a straight red card for bringing down Alexander Isak during the game, and Darwin Nunez's two goals gave Jurgen Klopp's team the victory over Newcastle.
Jarell Quansah, Harvey Elliot, and Nunez received special praise from Alexander-Arnold after the game, who insisted that they were outstanding for Liverpool against Newcastle when they came off the bench.
“You don’t genuinely believe you are going to win the game, but if you stick together,
“You will get chances. The boys that came on were amazing. Jarell Quansah. Absolutely outstanding.
“We executed that change of plan excellently, hitting them twice on the counter. The lads that came on were outstanding—Darwin, Harvey, Quansah—all brilliant,” Alexander-Arnold told Sky Sports.
