Erik ten Hag, the manager of Manchester United, has cautioned Alejandro Garnacho that maintaining the right attitude is necessary to play frequently.
The 18-year-old player entered the game against Aston Villa in the second half of the Carabao Cup match.
After the hosts fell behind to an Ollie Watkins goal, the dynamic forward assisted United in completing a fine comeback victory.
Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford, Bruno Fernandes, and Scott McTominay scored, with Garnacho providing two assists during his cameo as United won 4-2.
“I think it was good that when he came on he showed performance that he has an impact in the game.
“Can he have a regular role?" It depends on his approach, his attitude, and how long he keeps working.
“If he keeps the attitude that he wants to improve every day and he’s doing the right things in his lifestyle, then it’s possible,” Ten Hag said.
United will take on Fulham on Sunday in their last game before clubs go on break for the 2022 World Cup.
