It seems like forever since we’ve played a Premier League match, especially after the events of the past week (which continue to develop rapidly), but we do have one coming up this weekend and it’s even one of those classic “no easy games in the Premier League” types as we visit relegation-threatened Burnley for a second leg this Saturday 4pm(WAT) kick-off.

This game comes barely 72 hours after Wednesday’s FA Cup Round of 16 victory over Luton Town, but we did rotate heavily for that match and many of those who sat out seem to have improved their fitness. Reportedly, Hakim Ziyech, Trevoh Chalobah, and Reece James were all involved in training yesterday. Unfortunately, there is no word on either César Azpilicueta or Andreas Christensen, so presumably they remain sidelined alongside long-term injury victim Ben Chilwell.

We’re now into the run-in of the season, and focusing on the matters at hand will be imperative. We could yet finish the season with two trophies and an easy top-four finish, but we do have to keep taking care of business in games like this.

Chelsea are a team who are in transition this once again season. They have now signed a lot of players in the summer.

Chelsea take on Burnley in the Premier League clash this noon. The Blues take on Burnley in the next match. Chelsea have a brilliant attacking team this season.

The Blues have been hit hard since November as they dropped regularly. They moved to third in just two months and now, they are out of the title race. They reached into the final of the Carabao Cup but suffered a defeat in the penalty shootout.

The Blues have suffered against the lower-ranked teams. They dropped points against the hosts last time at Stamford Bridge. We are rarely seeing Chelsea keeping a clean sheet which was pretty common when Tuchel took charge.

Chelsea are always winning one week and next week they lose. They need to get more consistent. However, Tuchel is likely to get more time.

Chelsea predicted line up vs Burnley will be tricky to tell. Tuchel has shown that he has trust in youngsters. The boss is ready to mix up the squad and hence Chelsea predicted line up cannot be easily guessed.

Here is the Predicted Chelsea line up vs Burnley:

Predicted Chelsea formation vs Burnley: 4-3-2-1

Predicted line up:

Goalkeeper: We except Edwardo mendy to start in goal today.

Defenders: Tuchel is likely to resort back to his two-center-back policy. Rudiger and Thiago Silva at the center back, James and Alonso at the right and left flanks respectively.

Midfielder:

A three-man midfield with Saul, Jorginho and Kovacic should be at the base. With jorginho as the DM, Saul as the CM and Kovacic and the play maker.

Wingers and forwards:

Romelu Lukaku could be thrown in at centre-forward alongside Timo Werner and Hakim ziyech.

Predicted substitutes:

Kante is likely to replace jorginho in the DM position.

Mount also excepted to replace ziyech or Werner in the winger zone
