Real Madrid Team News
Real Madrid will be without Eden Hazard, Isco and Luka Jovic as they take on Chelsea in the last 8 of the Uefa Champions league.
The Belgian underwent ankle surgery last week to rule him out of the entire quarter-final tie against his old team, which begins at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday.
A back issue means Spanish midfielder Isco is unavailable while striker Jovic picked up an ankle injury during the international period, leading to the trio being left out of Madrid’s matchday squad.
Last week, the Italian was ruled out of the win at Celta Vigo due to the virus and he reportedly remains under isolation orders.
Chelsea Team news
Chelsea are likely to have a nearly fully-fit squad to choose from on Wednesday, with only long-term absentee Ben Chilwell (knee) definitely still sidelined.
Reece James returned from his latest setback against Brentford, while Christian Pulisic should be in contention after missing out at the weekend following his return from USA duty.
Callum Hudson-Odoi could remain out with Achilles and back issues, however.
Predicted Real Madrid XI: Courtois; Carvajal, Militao, Alaba, Mendy; Modric, Casemiro, Kroos; Asensio, Benzema, vinicus.
Predicted Chelsea XI:
Mendy, Silva, Rudiger, Ceasar, James, Kante, Kovacic, Sarr, Werner,
Lukaku, Pulisic.
