The governor of Enugu State, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, has authorized the immediate distribution of a plot of land to each of the 36 players who competed for Enugu Rangers International Football Club and won the 2015–2016 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).



Nnanyelugo Chidi Aroh, the commissioner for lands and urban development, issued a statement that included the governor's approval.

According to Aroh, the Golf Annex II in Enugu has received 36 plots of land that have been allocated to the aforementioned players by the Ministry of Lands and Urban Development in accordance with the directive.

The Commissioner also stated that Governor Ugwuanyi had given his approval for the players to receive occupancy permits right away and for all land charges associated with the allotted plots of land to be waived.

The players are advised to pick up their individual allocation letters at the Ministry of Lands and Urban Development in Enugu starting on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, along with a letter of introduction from the Rangers Management Corporation, reads the statement.

The benefiting players are Akor Itodo, Nana Bonsu, Etim Matthew, Odita Okechukwu, Nwobodo Obinna, Dada Bitrus, Egbuchulam Chisom, Sane Dusmane Pape, Eze Emeka, Anyasodo Nnamdi, Christian Madu, Okoro Osadebamwen, Okagbue Orji Kalu, Aguda Godwin W., Clement Bobby, Chinedu Sunday, Eseme Bright, Madu Chiamaka, Amanfor Chimezie, Donou Kokou, and

Others are Camara Cheik Abdel-Aziz, Osarumwense Jolly, Okorie Chidebere, Egwim Ifeanyi, N’Guissan Yao Djehani, Nnamani Chinedu, Olusesi Temitope, Ogbodo Michael, Agbo Charles, Ocheme Edoh, Madu Godson Chibuzor, Ikpo Okemini, Ezugwu Oforka, Daniel Emmanuel Shinkut, and Enete Chukwuchebem Morris.
