Antonio Cassano, a former Italian international, has criticized Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku for requesting a return to Inter Milan only a year after joining the West London club.

Cassano also urged Inter Milan not to re-sign Lukaku, who claims he didn't kick a ball last season in London, and revealed that Juventus' Paulo Dybala is poised to join the Nerazzurri.

Following his club-record move from Inter last summer, Lukaku had a horrible first season back at Chelsea.

Last season, the Belgian international scored 15 times in 44 appearances for Thomas Tuchel's team.

The 29-year-old is attempting to push a transfer away from Chelsea in order to return to Inter, where he led the Italian giants to their first Scudetto in a decade during the 2020/21 season under Antonio Conte.

On the other hand, Cassano does not want Inter to sign Lukaku again, telling Bobo TV (as reported by The Evening Standard), "I wouldn't accept him back." "I'm heading to my dream team, earning 15 million euros," he remarked. However, he no longer kicks a ball in London and wishes to return to Italy. Given the arrival of Dybala, Inter's concern is that if they get Lukaku, they will have to trade Lautaro. I would not sign Lukaku again.

He added: “Also because, first of all, you have to pay for him, but then you have to see the reaction of the fans: if he scores two goals per game, okay, but otherwise the situation becomes quite difficult." Lukaku has to think about it. At this point, I say he stays at Chelsea. ”
