Kevin Campbell, a former Arsenal player, has credited the club's owners Edu and Richard Garlick as well as manager Mikel Arteta for securing the services of Fabio Vieira.

Campbell praised the group after they were successful in signing Vieira from Porto this summer, whom he described as a special talent.

Vieira, who relocated to the Emirates from Porto this summer, started for Arsenal in the league for the first time against Brentford.

Last weekend, Arsenal defeated Brentford 3-0 thanks in part to a goal from the 22-year-old Portuguese.

“I think everyone who watched that game realised this kid, at 22), this kid is special,” Campbell Campbell told Highbury Squad. I’m telling you, he’s special.
“It will take time to adapt. He looks weak at times, but his technique, his quality on the ball, his passing, he’s excellent."
But also, he shot from outside the box and he fooled the goalkeeper with his eyes, whipped it with his left, and his shot was out. What a fantastic moment for him as well.
“He’s a special guy, he’s only going to get better as well, he’s (22) years old.
“We have to give Arteta, Edu and Richard Garlick some credit. We have some talent.
“Vieira has some fire in his boots, if they let him shoot, he can put them away.”
