Chelsea legend Pat Nevin has given his verdict on Arsenal's new summer recruit, Kai Havertz.

Nevin believes the signing of Havetz by Arsenal is an absolute cracker, adding that the Germany international can become one of the ‘greatest players of his generation’ at the Gunners.

Havertz swapped Stamford Bridge for the Emirates Stadium after completing a £65 million move to Arsenal from Chelsea.

“I think Havertz could still be one of the greatest players of his generation.

“He was playing center-forward at Chelsea, and that is not his strongest position. Playing there really took away the strongest parts of his game.

“Arsenal have sealed an absolute cracker of a deal with Havertz. I am really confident that Mikel Arteta will be able to get the best out of him as well,” Nevin told OLBG.
