Everton star Alex Iwobi has backed Arsenal to win the Premier League title this season ahead of Manchester City.

Iwobi, a former Arsenal player, said he wants the Gunners to win the English top-flight league title to be fair.

The Nigerian international also revealed that his former Arsenal teammate Reiss Nelson is ‘a joke’ in training.

Asked if he believes Arsenal will win the title ahead of Manchester City, Iwobi said on The Beautiful Game podcast, ‘Yeah, I believe so. And I want them to, to be fair.”
“[Nelson] is another Arsenal product,” Iwobi added.
“He’s another one who is a joke in training." With him, he just has that raw ability. I have to give it to him because he has to be patient. But every time he’s come on to play, he has delivered. I think he’s been the most impactful sub at Arsenal this season.”
