Joe Cole, a former player for Chelsea, responded to the Blues' acquisition of Camey Chukwuemeka.
The young player was signed this summer, and the former England international was thrilled about it, calling him "one of the most talented players in England."
Chukwuemeka signed with Chelsea this summer after being strongly linked with a move to Barcelona.
The 18-year-old made two starts while participating in sixteen Premier League games for Aston Villa.
Speaking to the Evening Standard, Cole said, “Carney Chukwuemeka from Aston Villa is one of the most talented players in England."
“That signing is even more important when you realize that signing young players from Europe has changed since Brexit."
“It is important that, even if we pay a bit more than we want to, we’re getting the best young British players through the door for the next generation.”
