The Nigeria Premier Football League will take a three-week break following this weekend's matchday nine matches.

After a busy first half of the season, the move will give the players and officials the chance to take a well-earned break.

The general election is scheduled for February 25 and March 11, 2023.

The second stanza of the abridged league will commence on March 18.

Matchday: nine matches will be played across ten different centers on Saturday and Sunday.

The 2022–23 NPFL season will end in May.
