Super Eagles head coach Finidi George has unveiled his 23-man squad for the crucial 2026 World Cup qualifier against South Africa, scheduled for June 7.
This lineup includes standout talents from both international leagues and the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
Key players like Europa League final hero Ademola Lookman, prolific striker Victor Osimhen, and midfield maestro Wilfred Ndidi have been called up. Notably, goalkeeper Maduka Okoye makes a return to the squad, adding experience and depth to the team.

The Super Eagles will host South Africa at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo on Friday, June 7, with kickoff set for 8 PM. Following this match, the team will travel to Abidjan to face Benin Republic at the Stade Felix Houphouet-Boigny on Monday, June 10, starting at 4 PM local time (5 PM Nigeria time).
