Edo Queens have bolstered their squad with five exciting new signings as they gear up for the second stanza of the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL), Dailypost reports.

The newly added talents include Anjor Mary from Bayelsa Queens, Rebecca Adegbemile from Delta Queens, as well as Winifred Eyegboria, Vincent Precious, and Happiness Titus—all from Remo Stars Ladies.

Each of the five players has signed a one-year contract with the reigning NWFL champions and has already joined the squad for training in preparation for the crucial second half of the season.

The NWFL second stanza is set to kick off on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, with the Edo Queens facing the Ekiti Queens in their opening fixture.

With these strategic reinforcements, the Edo Queens are aiming to maintain their dominance and continue their impressive run in the league.
