Owen names Man United’s main man under Ten Hag
Former Manchester United player Owen Hargreaves has named Lisandro Martinez as the club’s main man under manager Erik ten Hag.
Hargreaves said this following Manchester United’s Premier League win over West Ham on Sunday.
Martinez was impressive as Manchester United defeated West Ham at Old Trafford, thanks to Marcus Rashford’s only goal of the match.
“Erik ten Hag has got Manchester United winning games they would not have won last season,” Hargreaves told Premier League Productions.
“They’re in a good position; defensively, they’re so much improved."
“They’ll be delighted." Lisandro Martinez is the main man in that back four.
He added: “We know what David de Gea does – he produces big saves at big moments. That is what he is best at. "He has been consistently United’s best player over the last few years.”
