Paul Pogba will miss Manchester United's next three Premier League games after the club decided not to appeal his suspension.

Pogba was shown a straight red card for a studs up challenge on Héctor Bellerín towards the end of the game at the Emirates Stadium and will now miss next Sunday’s crunch Manchester derby. United chose not to appeal the dismissal but there had been suggestions the Frenchman could have been banned for an additional number of matches after he appeared to sarcastically applaud referee Andre Marriner on his way off the pitch. However, Pogba will only face the standard three match domestic suspension for violent conduct, meaning he will miss a home assignment against Bournemouth and a trip to West Brom in addition to the Manchester City encounter.
