Former Portugal head coach Fernando Santos could be set to continue his career in the Middle East.

Santos was sacked by the former European champions after a quarterfinal exit at the 2022 World Cup.

And according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the 68-year-old has received a few offers, which he’s considering.

Romano tweeted: “Former Portugal head coach Fernando Santos is considering options for his next move."
“European and Chinese clubs have approached Santos, but the most likely next destination is now the Middle East.”

Santos famously dropped Cristiano Ronaldo for their last two fixtures in Qatar.

Ronaldo this week joined Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia as a free agent.
