Chelsea have ruled out making a summer move for Nottingham Forest attacker Brennan Johnson.
According to Fabrizio Romano, staff at Chelsea have warmly admitted that they admire Johnson but have no plans to negotiate a deal for the 22-year-old Welshman this summer.
Chelsea have decided to continue to pursue other forwards and have a number of options shortlisted.
Meanwhile, Nottingham Forest are adamant that they want to keep hold of Johnson, and they even rejected a bid from Premier League side Brentford earlier in the window.
But it is said that Forest would be willing to sell their young forward if they received an attractive enough offer for him.
