Josko Gvardiola of RB Leipzig has extended his agreement with the team through June 2027.

This comes after Chelsea's offer of €90 million was declined on Wednesday.

There is no time left to finish an agreement as the summer transfer window closes today; discussions will resume in January 2023.

This was revealed by transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano.

Romano said: “Official. RB Leipzig's Josko Gvardiol extended his contract with RB Leipzig until June 2027 — as Chelsea’s €90m bid was turned down yesterday.

“No time to complete the agreement."

“Talks for Gvardiol to Chelsea/2023 will continue in January.”
