At least 13 countries have qualified for the Round of 16 stage of the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Argentina.
Israel, Brazil, and Italy were the three latest teams to qualify for the Round of 16 on Saturday.
Brazil defeated Nigeria 2-0, while Italy thrashed Dominican Republic 3-0
In the other games played on Saturday, Israel won 2-1 against Japan, and Senegal drew 1-1 with Colombia.
Following the outcome of Saturday’s group stage matches, Brazil, Italy and Israel now join the likes of Argentina, Uzbekistan, New Zealand, United States, Ecuador, Colombia, Nigeria, England, Gambia, and South Korea in the Round of 16 stage.
The final group games will take place later today.
The Round of 16 fixtures will commence next week.
