The latest rumour that Pogba may move to Barcelona before the end of the Transfer's market in Spain has been denied by Barcelona director Ariedo Braida, who unequivocally affirmed that Barcelona are unlikely to move for Manchester United star Paul Pogba.
The director says "I don't think we're going to move for Pogba, but he's a great player," he said. And with this, the speculation that is being spread widely that the French midfielder will be heading to Camp nou has now been denied.
The reason for the speculation can not be separated from Pogba's future at Old Trafford that is being questioned after a turbulent 2017-18 season in which he clashed with Manchester united manager Jose Mourinho.
The rumour was later augmented with Pogba post match comment in Manchester United's season opening win over Leicester on Friday, where he was quoted to have said "There are things I can say and there are things that I cannot say, otherwise I will get fined,".
Though he has suggested all is not well at United, Pogba insisted that he will continue to give his all for the club with a tweet from his twitter handle after last Friday match.
However, with the speculation, the Barcelona director still said affirmatively that his side are unlikely to make a play for the midfielder.
