It seems the ongoing industry action by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) will be called off any moment from now has the Court of Appeal gave ASUU seven days to do so.

The Court of Appeal has granted the permission to appeal the ruling of the National Industrial Court which ordered the union to call off its strike.

The court, however, granted the application on the condition that the union obeys the ruling of the lower court and calls off the strike immediately pending the determination of the substantive suit

NIC in a judgement on September 21 has directed ASUU to go back to class but ASUU appealed the case.
