Many students of the prestigious University of Benin, Uniben in Edo state have shut down the ever busy Lagos-Benin expressway in a massive protest against the extra N20,000 imposed on late fees payment by the school authorities.

The action has grounded vehicular movement around the axis and caused huge traffic.

In the video released online, the students could be seen laying on the main roads against on-coming vehicles with different placards calling on the school authority to rescind the late registration fee.
