In an exclusive interview with Teju Babyface, the veteran actress described her children as “the pillars of my life”, crediting them for stepping in when she needed them most.

“There was a time I battled depression and had to rely on antidepressants,” she revealed. “But my children weaned me off them. They have always been my biggest critics, yet my greatest supporters.”

Bukky Wright expressed deep gratitude for their unwavering support, acknowledging how they encouraged her to focus on self-care.

“They told me, ‘Iya, you have spent your life taking care of us, but now it’s time to live for yourself. Enjoy life and have fun.’ That changed everything for me.”
