Tolulope Ajayi, better known as T-Classic, a Nigerian singer, has revealed how he was rescued from despair.
T-Classic revealed in a recent Instagram live that he was depressed before the release of 'Makaveli,' after a fan referred to him as an aspiring vocalist.
The musician stated he went into depression but was saved by Psquare's Peter Okoye, Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, and Real Warri Pikin (Anita Asuoha' (Comedian) who chatted to him and provided help on HipTv on Saturday.
"I was despondent before I launched my single 'Makaveli,' but thank God Mr P (Peter Okoye), Omotola, and Real Warri Pikin saved me during a difficult moment in my life," he stated.
He also bemoaned the Nigerian music industry's cliques, which make it difficult to collaborate with some performers.
He also revealed that he spent some nights at the home of a top Nigerian artist in the hopes of collaborating, but that he was unable to do so.
"It's been difficult to collaborate," T-Classic remarked, "but I don't blame the major musicians because they're generally busy with gigs and other activities."
