Seyi Vibez and Zinoleesky, two popular Afrobeat singers, have recently unfollowed each other on Instagram, indicating a rift between them following an online clash.
The singers engaged in indirect jabs at each other, creating a frenzy on social media.
The conflict started when Seyi Vibez released two new songs, namely 'Hat-Trick' and 'Amdallah'. Shortly after, Zinoleesky took to his Instagram story, teasing his followers by asking if he should post a music snippet that could potentially cause chaos.
Although Zinoleesky did not explicitly mention anyone's name, nor was it clear if his post was specifically targeting Seyi Vibez, the response from the latter suggested it was directed at him.
Seyi Vibez, in his own Instagram story, threw shade at Zinoleesky, clarifying that he never discouraged any artist from dropping their music snippets.
He also reiterated his independence and suggested that Zinoleesky continue releasing music under his record label.
“I didn’t say y’all shouldn’t drop Snippet, I’ve got a lot of songs, no competition. You can even drop for your Record Label. I’m independent,” Seyi Vibez said in the video.
In a new development, Seyi Vibes tagged Zino a label slave and prayed for his enemies never to enjoy happiness.
“If them dey talk about the artiste wey you sabi pass for this kabal, put my name aside label slave. Anybody wey wish me bad soon God go take the person happiness away”, he wrote.
The artists have both unfollowed each other on Instagram.
