Kizz Daniel is enjoying a successful year with a world tour in full swing and undoubtedly one of the biggest hits rocking major cities.

As the first artist to reach 300 million cumulative plays on Boomplay, he sets a new milestone for artistic achievement and is currently the most streamed musician on the service.

Some of Kizz Daniel's most well-known works, like the "Barnabas" EP with 133.5 million streams, "King of Love" with 39 million streams, "No Bad Songs" with 22.1 million streams, and his most streamed single "Buga" with 82 million streams, are leading the pack in those streams.

Tekno's "Buga," which achieved widespread acclaim and has generally been hailed as a masterstroke, is still receiving a resoundingly positive response.

Buga was reported to have accumulated 1 million streams within 24 hours of its release on Boomplay and has since retained the top spot in countries such as Nigeria, Ghana, Cameroon, Zimbabwe, Togo, Zambia, DRC, Benin, and Sierra Leone.

Kizz Daniel's 300 million streaming feat adds to Boomplay's recent milestone announcements and illustrates the music industry's phenomenal expansion in terms of music consumption and streaming culture. Kizz Daniel made history earlier in April 2022 when his fourth studio album, "Barnabas EP," made him the first artist to reach 100,000,000 project-based streams in under six months.

Kizz Daniel now commands Boomplay's Golden Club, which also includes Burna Boy, Fireboy, Joeboy, Omah Lay, Rayvanny, Diamond Platnumz, Davido, Wizkid, Olamide, Naira Marley, Ruger, Black Sherif, and Simi.

Boomplay's supremacy in music streaming and elevating domestic talents will see to an iteration of Afrobeats' global dominance as it continues to enjoy democratized access and thunderous acclaim on the international stage.
