Popular singer Simisola Kosoko, simply known as Simi, has bemoaned the excruciating economic hardship in the country.
She said the situation in Nigeria breaks her “heart a little more every day.”
The Duduke crooner wondered how Nigerians were coping with the current economic turmoil.
On her Twitter handle on Wednesday night, she wrote, “Nigeria just breaks my heart a little more every day. How are people surviving?”
The Daily Post recalls that the pump price of fuel skyrocketed to N612 per liter after President Bola Tinubu removed subsidies from petrol.
Consequently, the price of foodstuffs and the cost of living generally increased in the country.
