Renowned Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has shared her emotional journey through a life-threatening health challenge.



In a heartfelt video posted on her Instagram page on Thursday, the 46-year-old revealed that she recently underwent surgery to remove her gallbladder.

Expressing profound gratitude to God for her recovery, Omotola opened up about the experience, saying, “Have you ever been told by a doctor that there’s nothing more they can do? And you still feel like you are dying.”

Her story has sparked conversations and drawn attention, as fans continue to celebrate her strength and resilience.

Explaining how it started, she said, “I threw up all night. By the morning, the most dilapidated stomach pain started and I was rushed again to the emergency room for the third time!

“This time, I was wheeled in for a CT scan, ultrasound, and an MRI. Then the doctor said I have to go in for surgery immediately to remove my gallbladder. So the fight for my life began.”
