Nigerian Afrobeats sensation David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, recently shared insights into his relationships with fellow artists Wizkid and Burna Boy.

Speaking on the American show Sway’s Universe, Davido disclosed that there is limited communication between them.

In response to host Sway's question about their communication, Davido indicated that he and his counterparts do not regularly communicate. Additionally, he addressed comparisons between himself, Wizkid, and Burna Boy, downplaying the notion that they are currently the top three Afrobeats artists globally.

Contrary to common assumptions, Davido emphasized his individual prominence within the Afrobeats genre. While acknowledging past interactions with Wizkid and Burna Boy, particularly during a challenging time when he lost his first son, Ifeanyi, in a swimming pool accident, Davido emphasized his own stature as a significant figure in the Afrobeats scene.
