The Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, better known by his stage name Burna Boy, has claimed that he dislikes Twitter users because they are "mad.

"

He claimed that prior to his travels around the globe, he had assumed that "madness" on X was only being displayed by Nigerians. However, he later learned that it was a "global phenomenon."

This was said by the self-described "African Giant" in a recent interview with Kiss FM in London, United Kingdom.

Burna Boy said, “I don’t like people on Twitter. I used to think it was just Nigerians on Twitter who were just mad. Then, when I went to Kenya, I saw that it was the same thing. I went to South Africa, and I saw it was the same thing.
“I went to America. In America, they have their own group. If you go, you'll see all of them tagged. You know how Lil Durk has his OTF? Twitter mad people for America; they've got their own.”
