Jason Alexander, Britney Spears' ex-husband, has been charged with felony stalking after showing up uninvited at her home in California and apparently attempting to gatecrash her wedding to Sam Asghari.

At a court appearance in Ventura County on Monday, Alexander, 40, pleaded not guilty to the charge as well as four misdemeanors.

Following the incident, he was charged with two misdemeanour battery charges, one case of misdemeanour vandalism, and one count of misdemeanour trespassing.

Officers from the Ventura County Sheriff's Office apprehended Alexander and took him to a local jail.

A judge set bail at $100,000 and ordered him to keep at least 100 yards away from the pop sensation for the next three years.
