Having sex outside of marriage is now a criminal offence in Indonesia, the world’s third-largest democracy, cleared a sweeping overhaul of its criminal code today by outlawing sex outside of marriage, defamation of the president and sharply expanding its laws against blasphemy.

The good news is minimum jail terms for corruption offenders reduced from 4 to 2 years.
