The Vatican city of the Roman Catholic church has expelled a cardinal for soliciting sex and some other sexual assault cases on minors.
The Vatican through the head pope Francis has expelled 88 years old US cardinal Theodore Mccarrick for soliciting for sex while hearing confession and other sexual activities on minors and adults. The former archbishop of Washington was found guilty as charged and has been banned from celebrating the holy mass and sacraments, wearing any clerical vests or being addressed with any religious title. The cardinal appealed for the case but lost the appeal and the holy father has made it clear that after proper investigation, the Vatican is not ready to listen to any appeal again and that the ban stands.
Cardinal Mccarick will be the first Catholic prelate in 100 years to lose the title of cardinal.
