It was an unexpected end for some final year 500 Accounting students of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Oyo state as they perished in an accident on Wednesday evening in Osun state.



Reports have it that the students were returning from an excursion to Erin-Ijesa Waterfall in Osun State when their vehicle suddenly caught fire around Ilobu-Okinni-Osogbo road in Osun.

Confirming the tragic incident, the school Public Relations Officer, Lekan Fadeyi said that lives were lost in the accident but could not verify the numbers as he is yet to receive more information on the incident.

Meanwhile, Naijacrawl can confirm that at least five students have been confirmed dead.
