Anambra State Governor, Charles Soludo, has reaffirmed that the state is predominantly Christian, emphasizing his administration’s commitment to eradicating evil and criminal activities.
Speaking on Wednesday night during a Healing and Deliverance Crusade organized by the Dunamis International Gospel Center (DIGC), Governor Soludo revealed that all dangerous native doctors in the state are now on the run.
“Anambra is predominantly a Christian State. People often ask why I say this, but when you have about 98% of the population professing one faith, it is only right to acknowledge it. Light and darkness cannot coexist—evil must give way,” he declared.
Security Improvements in Anambra
Governor Soludo also highlighted significant progress in tackling insecurity, noting that the state has enjoyed a period of peace.
“I just received a report from our Commissioner of Police confirming that in the past month, there has been no gunfire exchange between security forces and criminals. This is a testament to our efforts in restoring security.”

While addressing Pastor Paul Enenche, Senior Pastor of Dunamis Church, Governor Soludo shared plans to erect a Christian symbol in the state.
“By the time you visit again, you will see the ‘Light of the Nation’ alongside a cross representing that light.”
He concluded by requesting prayers for the continuous peace and progress of Anambra State.
