Paschal who is said to be a musician,DJ and entertainer who mostly performs in political rallies in the state. He was on his way to obosi for another political rally on that faithful day, when he approached the said umuoji road where some little kids mistakenly threw a stone at his car which scratched the vehicle. He stopped and tried to come down and catch the kids but the children has already fled before he could catch up with them. However, he managed to get hold of one of them that couldn't run fast like others but in a few minutes time the ones that ran came back with their parents and few villagers and labelled the young man a kidnapper that tried to run away with the kids. The mob that has already gathered couldn't give the young man chance to explained what happened rather descended on him and set his car ablaze. The police later intervened and took the young man away. He was taking to iyi enu  hospital because of the injuries he sustained from the beating but he gave up the ghost. Families and friends of the young man and the entire people of the state has condemned the act and labelled it barbaric.
