Doyinsola Anuoluwapo David, also known as Doyin, was evicted from the Big Brother Naija All Stars house and has criticized Nigerians for doing so.
She emphasized that she was the kind of person the reality show needed and that she was very outspoken, but she felt let down by the viewers when they failed to vote to save her.
Doyin received the fewest votes among the housemates put up for consideration of eviction, according to The Daily Post, and was thus eliminated during the live show on Sunday.
Doyin said in a conversation with the host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, that was posted on the Africa Magic YouTube channel on Monday that she had already dreamed about being kicked off but hoped "Nigerians would be smarter this time" to save her.
She said, “Honestly, before you called me, I thought I was going to leave because I already had the feeling; I had a dream. But then I was just hoping that Nigerians would be smarter this time around.
“I’m reality TV gold. There was a reason I was called [for the all-star edition by Big Brother]. I’m a very vocal person. Those are the types of people you need on the show.
“And, to be honest, there is no other person like me in that house. They are all very sneaky; they talk behind our backs. Nobody really has balls. I have a lot of balls. So I should be there. But Nigerians, disappointing.”
