As the supreme leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra; IPOb, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is currently being held by the Nigeria Government, his immediate disciple; Simon Ekpa who is heading the organization has promised to take a forceful course of action by mandating all markets in the southeast part of the country not to pay task again.
He said civil disobedience is a way to channel the group's dissatisfaction on the continuous way Buhari is holding Kanu.
He made this known through a post on his social media page.
He writes:
We will stop the revenue collection in Biafraland and we will enforce it.
The continues violation of the court order by DSS over the welfare and health of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu will no longer be tolerated.
Biafrans must be ready to start implementation of no revenue collection from our market place in the entire Biafraland.
We are putting those task-force, collecting state revenue on notice.
When we start this new civil disobedience, Our traders will no longer pay revenue to the government that kill, abduct, humiliate and annihilate them.
Thousands of Biafrans are missing, many are dead and many in secret detention across Nigeria.
Our demand is total freedom, unconditional release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and all political prisoners from Biafraland.
We will stop all market in Biafraland from paying anything to the government of Nigeria.
Biafrans will enforce this, those involved in revenue collection must take note.
After awareness on this, the implementation follows and anyone seen collecting revenue for any state government will be dealt with.
Let the government employ police and army with AK-47 to collect the revenue for them.
