The Federal Government has disclosed its plans to temporarily close the Iyana Oworonshoki-Adeniji Adele section of the Third Mainland Bridge.
The closure is scheduled to commence at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, as confirmed by Mrs. Olukorede Kesha, the Federal Controller of Works for Lagos State. The official statement was issued in the early hours of Thursday, December 28, 2023.
Mrs. Kesha specified that the closure would affect the Lagos Island-bound carriageway of the bridge. In light of the upcoming repairs, she urged motorists to comply with traffic regulations and seek alternative routes to mitigate any inconvenience during the comprehensive repair work on the highway.
