The senator that represented Adamawa North in the last assembly, Senator Elisha Abbo has said that he became poorer when he became a politician.

The controversial senator said earning ₦29,000,000 a month is not a lot of money. It will be recalled that the remuneration for the Senate came to the public limelight when a senator from Kano State revealed that he earned up to 25 million naira as allowance per month.
