The Governor of Niger State, Mohammed Umaru Bago, has charged the residents of Lapai Emirate to, at all times, share security intelligence with relevant authorities to curtail insecurity in the domain.



Bago made the call during his Sallah homage to the Emir of Lapai, Alh. Umaru Bago Tafida, at his Palace.

He noted that due to the security challenges that have affected the Emirate, there is a need for the people to play an integral part in sharing intelligence with the relevant organizations responsible for maintaining law and order to protect communities and prevent potential threats to lives and property.

The governor also described his visit as a homecoming and urged the people to continue to support and pray for the success of his administration.

Earlier, the Emir of Lapai, Alh.Umaru Bago Tafida, thanked the Governor for the visit and promised total support for the present administration's success.
