Former Oyo State Governor, Senator Rasidi Adewolu Ladoja, has strongly denied any involvement or hidden knowledge about the assassination of former Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Chief Bola Ige.
Speaking to DAILY POST and other journalists at his residence on Monday, Ladoja dismissed recent claims made by former Osun State Governor, Chief Bisi Akande, who alleged that Ladoja had undisclosed information regarding Ige’s murder.
Ladoja, however, insisted that Akande’s statements were false and baseless. He challenged Akande to publicly reveal any evidence he has instead of tarnishing his reputation.
“I have no hidden knowledge about the death of Chief Bola Ige. I had no issues with him,” Ladoja stated. “Maybe Chief Bisi Akande is just trying to promote his book—I don’t know. But there is no link between my election and Ige’s assassination.”
The former governor, now Otun Olubadan, emphasized that he is no longer involved in politics but is prepared to take necessary actions to protect his integrity.
