In Yaba Lagos State, a Magistrates’ Court on Monday remanded one 37-year-old auxiliary nurse named Fisayo Ogedengbe over the contentious death of hip hop artiste Mohbad, also known as Ilerioluwa Aloba.
Allegedly, the nurse administered injections to the late singer, leading to his demise. Likewise, Magistrate Adeola Olatunbosun ordered the return of Mohbad's friend, Ayobani Sadiq, who is also a suspect in the case, to police custody.
However, Naira Marley, known as Azeez Fashola, and Lagos socialite Sam Larry, aka Balogun Eletu, both implicated in Mohbad’s death and detained by the police on October 6, were granted bail in the amount of N20 million each. The magistrate stipulated that they must have three responsible sureties, with one owning a landed property, surrender their passports, and make weekly appearances at the State Criminal Investigation Department as part of their bail conditions.
