At least 300 Boko Haram/Islamic State of the West African Province (ISWAP) members have been killed by the Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF) in Lake Chad.

On Saturday, the Chief of Military Public Information, Lt. Col. Kamarudeen Adegoke, published a statement.

The terrorists were killed in 30 separate clashes, according to the statement.

At a meeting with all MNJTF commanders, Force Commander Gen. Abdul Khalifa spoke.

According to Khalifa, the militants' increased use of improvised explosive devices (IEDs) has been recognized, and required steps have been taken.

“About four IED-making factories were destroyed in the course of the operations so far," the General said.

The Air Component of the MNJTF/Operation Hadin Kai was hailed for the remarkable role it played.

Fighter jets took out several enemy camps, equipment, and commanders.

The latest is Abu Ibrahim, the ISWAP leader who was eliminated in the Lake Chad Tunbumas.

Khalifa added that more than 52,000 terrorists, comprising fighters, those conscripted by force, and their families, have surrendered.
