However the controversial investigative journalist Mrs kemi Olunloyo has taken to her twitter handle to put the rumour to rest by saying there is no truth in the rumour of Kanu death.

She tweeted:

BREAKING After investigating all night, I am letting everyone know that Nnamdi Kanu is ALIVE and well. He was NEVER in Italy let alone hospitalized. I also spoke to close friends of Kanu including my brother @realFFK who confirmed the same and has spoken to Mazi Kanu.

It will be recalled that kanu has been on exile since he ranaway from the government of Nigeria after he was released from prison over a year ago.
