Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun's former Senior Special Adviser on Vocational and Technical Education, Prof Joseph Odemuyiwa, has passed away.

The sad news was shared by Dickson Awolaja, the lawmaker representing Remo North State Constituency, who confirmed the incident. According to reports, Prof Odemuyiwa, aged 66, was on his way to Ibadan when the accident occurred.

Before his demise, Prof Odemuyiwa had served as a lecturer at both Olabisi Onabanjo University in Ago Iwoye and Tai Solarin University of Education in Ijagun, both of which are state-owned institutions.

This unfortunate incident has left a void in the educational community, and our thoughts go out to his family and loved ones during this difficult time.
