Our Borders Will Be Opened Soon - Buhari
The Nigerian President; Muhammadu Buhari after the National Executive Meeting of the APC alongside with the Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, NASS leaders and the state governors yesterday in Abuja and Virtual has now affirmed that the border will be opened very soon.
After the meeting, he tweeted:
"In my meeting with State Governors today I explained that the closure of Nigeria’s land borders was partly an attempt to control the smuggling in of weapons & drugs. Now that the message has sunk in with our neighbours, we’re looking into reopening the border"
It will be recalled that the Nigeria border has been closed for close to two years now.
