President Bola Tinubu met briefly with his service chiefs for a briefing on their operations before his proposed trip to India to attend the G-20 summit.
General Christopher Musa, the Chief of Defense Staff, Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja, the Chief of the Army Staff, Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla, the Chief of the Navy, and Air Marshal Hassan Abubakar, the Chief of the Air Staff, were all present at the routine meeting at the Presidential Villa.
The Service Chiefs briefed the President on the country's overall security situation during the meeting, which was held behind closed doors at Aso Rock. They also reviewed any areas where they needed to step up their efforts to close gaps in security.
Later that day, Tinubu would travel to New Delhi, India, where he would attend the G-20 Leaders Summit.
