Rt Hon (Barr) Ehie Edison tendered his resignation as speaker and member of the 10th Rivers state house of Assembly.

Ehie is the speaker that was loyal to Governor Sim Fubara during the political hullabaloo in the state.

He presided over four members out of 32.

Report have it that he is being tipped to be the next chief of staff to the governor.
